Standing towel racks are wonderful items for any home. They are especially useful for the homeowner who does not have room to mount a towel rack on their walls -- or for those living in apartments or dorm rooms, where tenants are not permitted to put holes in the walls. It is made from good quality chrome, and incorporates three levels of towel racks on the top as well as a shelf on the bottom for storing toilet tissue, Kleenex, cosmetics, bath oils or anything else you need. It is a good value, retailing for around $50. A third offering in standing towel racks comes to us from Stacks and Stacks -- a chrome folding towel stand. Retailing at around $30, it is a very good value and a bit different as well, as this standing towel rack folds up, to keep it out of the way when you don't need it. As well, this standing towel rack incorporates a unique design in the platform -- it swivels, so that the towel arms can be folded flat to the sides of the rack. Interestingly enough, when you use this standing towel rack you can hang your towels on the hanging platform either when it is in the folded or upright position. This is an ideal choice in standing towel racks if you have a very small bathroom with limited space, or if you need any standing towel rack for your camper or RV. Finally, we have a very unusual standing towel rack to mention -- it is a HEATED towel stand, manufactured by Heliohealth. The metal is satin nickel, and features a curved top rail, over which you could drape damp robes, towels or wash rags to be dried. Despite these unique features this item is a very good buy at under $125 retail.
